Ice Dogs Hockey Club Spring

Tryout Information Coming Soon!

Hello Ice Dogs families,

We hope you are all enjoying the winter and your hockey season as it winds down to completion. Which of course means Spring Hockey is right around the corner and on everyone's radar.

As always, Glacier Hockey and the Ice Dogs strive to keep our programs innovative and up to date. A few quick notes on how we’re doing so this Spring season:

  1. We will be under one name (Ice Dogs Hockey Club) and will field teams at all competitive levels.
  2.  We anticipate having 3 to 4 teams at every level - Mites through Bantams
  3. New this Spring will be the addition of 2 Midget teams at the 16u and 18u levels.
  4. The organization has had many families in our program and general area inquire about reintroducing our Midget program. We feel we have enough interest to move forward in the Spring with these teams and intend to continue with full-season 2025-2026 Midget teams, as well. More information will come soon regarding our revitalized Midget program. These Spring teams will follow the same tournament and practice structure of the as the other age levels in the spring program.
  5. Goalie specific training sessions will be offered throughout the spring for all levels. These sessions will be led by GDI goaltending coaches, who will focus on developing the necessary skills and techniques for the goaltenders in our program. With goalie development being a crucial aspect of a successful hockey program, we value the partnership with GDI and these important sessions.
